<p style="text-align:justify;">This nationwide selling skill training project was conducted in Hanoi on 8 &amp; 9 December 2011 and in Ho Chi Minh City from 26 December to 29 December 2011. <span id="more-1850"></span>More than 100 sales force of Isuzu from all of its dealers throughout Vietnam participated in this workshop. During this workshop, participants participated in various group discussions, role plays and games that enabled them to enhance their skills in approaching customers, identifying customers’ needs and wants, presenting and demonstrating product features and benefits, handling objections, closing, following up and enhancing relationship with customers. Following the workshops, participants completed both written and demonstration tests.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">To ensure that their managers have the right skills to assign tasks and empower their subordinates, Canon engaged SPECTRA to conduct Job Assignment Workshop on 26 &amp; 27 December 2011. This workshop was attended by 30 managers from various departments. Upon completing this workshop, participants know what tasks they should delegate, how to choose the right person to delegate tasks to, how to use empowerment, how to follow up and create accountability, and how to make delegation attractive to the staff.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Following the successful completion of Supervisory Skills workshops that SPECTRA conducted for Hoya in September this year, Hoya once again collaborated with SPECTRA to organize Effective Leadership and Management Skills for its managers.  This workshop was conducted on 21 &amp; 22 December 2011<span id="more-1839"></span> and was attended by 23 participants from HR &amp; Admin, Accounting, Assembling, Final Insp., Technical, Lot make, QA, Warehouse, IT, Purchasing, Production Control, Facility, ESH, Mixing/Filling, Visual Insp. and Process departments. Through various learners&#8217; centred training methods, such as role plays, case studies and games, participants learned how to apply the right leadership style, create positive norms, develop team cohesiveness, create common goals, motivate followers and so on.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Following the success of Effective Teamwork Skills Workshop that SPECTRA conducted for 90 employees of Canon in October 2011, Canon once again again trusted SPECTRA to conduct the same workshop for 70 of its employees.  This workshop took place on 22 December 2011 and was attended by participants from various departments.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong></strong><span style="text-align:justify;">Key Performance Indicators drive the implementation of company’s strategies by ensuring that all members of the organizations are doing the right things right. However, to gain benefits of implementing KPI, organizations must ensure that they set the right performance indicators that are aligned to company’s vision and objectives. Furthermore, they must also implement performance evaluations and reward systems that are linked to the KPI. Without all of these, organizations are likely to gain nothing from the implementation of KPIs.</span></p>
<p><span id="more-1818"></span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">To enhance their managers’ skills in implementing KPI and to ensure that they maximize the benefits of implementing KPI, Canon engaged SPECTRA to conduct “Understanding &amp; Implementing KPI” workshop on 24 and 25 November 2011 in Ha Noi. This workshop was attended by 17 managers from all departments. The objectives of this workshop include:</p>
<ul style="text-align:justify;">
<li>Understand the concept of KPI and their importance</li>
<li>Understand the role of KPI in helping an organization to achieve its long term and short-term objectives</li>
<li>Understand the role of KPI as a quality assurance system</li>
<li>Understand the attributes of well designed KPI</li>
<li>Gain the skills to develop effective KPI for their organization</li>
<li>Recognize different types of KPI and the consequences of using different types</li>
<li>Gain the skills to effectively use and implement KPI for increasing revenue, productivity and profit</li>
<li>Gain the skills to use KPI as an effective performance management tool</li>

<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#000000;">To ensure the the effectiveness of this workshop, participants were divided into 5 groups and workshops were conducted from 18 &#8211; 29 November 2011 at Youngone&#8217;s production facility Nam Dinh, Vietnam.  This Effective Supervisory Skills Workshop is the third workshop that SPECTRA conducted for Youngone this year. SPECTRA previously conducted Supervisory Skills workshop and Performance Management Workshop for managers of Youngone in April this year. SPECTRA is honored to be selected by Youngone as its trusted Human Resource Development partner.</span></p>
